Shape color
Fill color selectionShape colors are changed using the Fill Color button on the Perspector Drawing toolbar: ![]() To change the color of a shape, select it first, and then click the little arrow at the side of the Fill Color button to see the color selection menu: ![]() In this menu you can click any of the color boxes to change the color of the shape. If you want to specify an exact color from RGB components, click More Fill Colors... near the bottom of the menu to show a Color dialog box. This lets you pick from a much larger range of colors. The 6 named colors from "Background 1" to "Accent 2" are colors from the color scheme of the current presentation. The capability to use the scheme colors was added in Perspector 4.0. You can use these special colors to make the 3D Perspector shapes match the other colors used in your presentation.Picture fillAt the bottom of the Fill Color menu, you can click Picture... to use a picture file as the fill of the shape instead of a color. Apply the last color usedThe icon of the Fill Color button is a tipped paint pot. However, below the paint pot is a line which shows the last color that was used. Here you can see that the last fill color used was yellow: ![]() If you click the Fill Color button - not the little arrow next to the button - the selected shape is changed to the last color used. In the above example, clicking the button changes selected shapes to yellow. ShineTo change the shininess of the surface of a shape, select it first, and then click the Shininess button on the Perspector Drawing toolbar: ![]() The shine effect works best with shapes that have curved surfaces such as spheres and cylinders. This sphere has a semi-gloss shine:
TransparencyBy default, shapes are added fully opaque, but it is possible to make them partially transparent. ![]() New payment method
Our payment handler now supports local bank transfers in 40 countries, with 27 currencies supported. You might remember that a new PowerPoint add-in was released last year called Opazity. It was developed by SteveHardSoft, and creates blurred images of things on your slide. SteveHardSoft has now released a trial version of Opazity so that you can try it for 7 days for free. Download your free trial from here: http://www.opazity.com/ Opazity normally costs US $47, but Steve Hards is offering a special discount for Perspector users. You can purchase it for just $27 here: http://www.opazity.com/perspector/ |
