Create list
Perspector 4.0 now has dynamic list editing, making it easy to add and remove items from lists. Also, many new list images have been added to the Perspector Library. To create a list: 1. Click the "Show Perspector Library" button: 2.
Then click one of the list images in the library. Not all of the images
support dynamic list editing, but the ones that look like lists
probably do:
3. The Perspector Editor will open so that you can edit the list:
4.
Click in the list and edit it. The cursor keys can move between the
list items. Return and backspace (or Enter and Delete) can add and
remove items.
5. Click OK to finish editing the list. In this example, the list image has been resized and repositioned on the slide:
Note
that the colors used in this list automatically match the colors used
in the presentation. See "Using presentation template colors" below.
Convert PowerPoint list
You've
seen how Perspector can now be used to create new lists. However, if
you already have a bullet list on your slide, Perspector can also
convert it quickly into 3D for you!
1. Go to a slide with a bullet list on it:
![]() 2. Click the "Convert Bullet List" button: ![]() ![]()
4. Edit the list if required. Then click OK to add the image to your
slide. In this example, the list image has been resized and
repositioned on the slide:
Note that the colors used in this list automatically match the colors used in the presentation. See the next item.
Using presentation template colors
Chances
are that you use a presentation template for your presentations, with a
color scheme. Perspector 4.0 lets you pick colors from this color
scheme for your shapes.
The fill color, line color and font color drop-downs on the Perspector Drawing toolbar all have new color options:
If the color scheme changes, you can update the Perspector images to match by using the "Update All Perspector Images" button. Add images to the Perspector Library
With
the Perspector 4.0 Professional Edition you can now reuse your own
Perspector images time and time again by adding them to the Perspector
Library. This is a terrific timesaver because you do not have to keep
reproducing and recreating images you have tailored.
Select the image in PowerPoint, and click "Add image to User's Images" in the panel: ![]() The image will then be available in your Perspector Library, or you can click "View User's Images" to see all the images you have added. To delete an image from the library, right-click the image and choose "Remove from library". Pricing news
